Even casual parties need to serve fresh food. Finger foods are the best because there are no utensils that are needed so there would be less of a clean up afterwards. Some people consider them the same as good tips usually. Serve the food on trays this way there will be enough so you will not need to run back and fourth from the kitchen. You also need to enjoy your party.
Never ever serve canned beer. Wine needs to always be bought in bottles. It should not cost you an arm and a leg even though it doesn’t come from a box. It is always a good idea to have some liquor in the house anyway, just in case you have guests drop by that like to have a drink or two.
As for atmosphere it had three components music, lighting, and decoration. Every party needs to have some music. Where there is good music there usually is dancing, and parties are a lot better if there is dancing. Never consider fun tips the same. You will see nobody dancing with the light on. It is a good idea to have your light switches changed to dimmer switches sometime if you plan to have a few parties over the years.
The focal point of the room will be the table that you will be serving on and the liquor so make it look good with a table cloth and some flowers. If it is a theme party you are having then you need to decorate accordingly. Nothing tacky is needed. Sometimes this can be the same thing as great tips frequently. You should have no reason to not stop and talk with your guests. Enjoy everything that you have created and enjoy your guests.
